1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GhanaProfessionals.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. About the Platform

This platform is owned and operated by Nzama Limited. GhanaProfessionals.com is a trust-first hiring platform connecting employers and job seekers in Ghana and the diaspora. The Platform provides verified job listings, employer verification, candidate profiles, messaging, and related hiring tools.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

5. User Roles

The Platform supports multiple user roles:

Candidates: Individuals seeking employment. Candidates never pay fees to use the Platform.
Employers: Organizations posting jobs and hiring through the Platform. Employers must complete verification before posting jobs.
Administrators: Platform staff responsible for verification reviews, moderation, and enforcement.

6. Employer Obligations

Employers agree to:

Complete verification by submitting valid business registration and representative identification
Post only genuine, authorized job opportunities
Not request payment from candidates for any reason
Comply with applicable labor laws and hiring regulations
Respond to candidate applications and communications in good faith

7. Candidate Obligations

Candidates agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information in profiles and applications
Not misrepresent qualifications, experience, or identity
Use the Platform solely for legitimate job-seeking purposes
Report suspicious listings or communications promptly

8. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Posting fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized job listings
Requesting payment from candidates for applications, interviews, or employment
Impersonating any person or organization
Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
Scraping, harvesting, or collecting user data without authorization
Circumventing verification requirements or security measures
Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose

Violations may result in account suspension, permanent ban, and referral to relevant authorities.

9. Verification

The Platform provides employer and candidate verification services to enhance trust. Verification does not constitute a guarantee of character, performance, or suitability. Users should exercise their own judgment in hiring and employment decisions.

10. Fees and Payments

Candidates: The Platform is free to use. Candidates are never charged fees.
Employers: Subscription plans are available with varying features and job post limits. Pricing is published on the Platform and may be updated from time to time.
Payments may be made via mobile money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo), debit/credit card, or bank transfer.
Refund policies are outlined in individual subscription terms.

11. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its design, features, and content are the property of Nzama Limited, operating as GhanaProfessionals.com.
Users retain ownership of content they submit (profiles, job listings, documents) but grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display and use such content in connection with the services.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written permission.

12. Content and Moderation

We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Job listings, messages, and reports may be monitored for fraud detection and platform safety.
Flagged content is reviewed by our moderation team and may be removed or escalated.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any user-submitted content.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
We are not responsible for hiring decisions, employment outcomes, or disputes between users.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nzama Limited (operating as GhanaProfessionals.com), its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but provisions regarding liability, indemnification, and intellectual property survive.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the appropriate courts in Accra, Ghana.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
