Environmental and Social Impact Consultant

Volta Engineering is seeking an Environmental and Social Impact Consultant for a 12-month contract to support our compliance with EPA and World Bank environmental safeguards on a major road project. Responsibilities: - Conduct Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) - Develop Environmental Management Plans for construction projects - Monitor environmental compliance during construction phases - Engage with affected communities and manage grievance mechanisms - Prepare quarterly environmental monitoring reports for the EPA - Advise project team on World Bank Environmental and Social Framework requirements

- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or related field - 4+ years of ESIA experience, preferably in infrastructure projects - Familiarity with Ghana EPA regulations and World Bank safeguards - Experience with community engagement and stakeholder consultation - Strong report writing and analytical skills - Registered with the EPA as an environmental consultant is preferred
